What Can I Expect?

We will first meet at the Koffler House Lobby (569 Spadina Avenue) at 9:30 AM for check-in and to receive a general introduction ahead of the tour. The tour consists of 3 site locations which we have organized a bus to take us. Afterward, the bus will bring us back to Koffler House by approximately 4:30 PM.

Please note that there are some special considerations for the tour, including:

1. No shorts or bare legs for anyone
2. No sleeveless tops for anyone. Short sleeves are acceptable.
3. Everyone will need head coverings. All women will need to bring a headscarf for the mosque and the gurdwara, as these are not provided. Men will need to wear a bandana at the gurdwara. If they don’t have one, head coverings are available at the Sikh temple. They are previously worn and regularly laundered. Men may also bring their own bandanas, but they must be plain or with a pattern (no logos, slogans, etc.).
4. We will be offered a vegetarian meal at the Sikh gurdwara.
