SUMMARY:Community Engagement Challenge Kick Off
DESCRIPTION:Start the school year by accepting the challenge! The Community Engagement Challenge offers a series of events that allow students to embark on their own adventure in community building and intercultural learning. This event provides an opportunity to learn about the challenge\, expand your social network through interactive activities\, and enjoy some refreshments! \nThe Community Engagement Challenge will outline 9 events occurring from September 2 to September 30\, 2025\, which students can participate in to earn a Co-Curricular Record (CCR) and to be entered into a raffle to win 1 of 4 $50.00 gift cards. These events a part of a self-directed challenge that is linked to a workflow in Folio to help students track their progress. Our goal is to motivate students to participate in three or more of the nine events offered. Students who attend three or more events will be required to complete a brief reflection activity\, after which they will be entered into a drawing for 4 gift cards\, each valued at $50.00. This event is perfect for students who are developing skills in social intelligence and community engagement.
