All of these programs allow students to broaden their global perspective while still remaining local, on U of T’s campuses.

Minor In Global Leadership

Now, more than ever, the world needs principled, inclusive, and empathetic global leaders. The Minor in Global Leadership is U of T’s first tri-campus, interdivisional, multidisciplinary undergraduate community of diverse and globally agile, problem solvers and will launch in September 2023.

Designated Global Scholar courses are specially curated across a range of disciplines to empower students to interpret our world through a global lens and examine issues from different cultural, economic and socio-political perspectives.

Global Citizen

The Global Citizen is a co-curricular program that allows students to showcase their own experiences or engage in new ones through the requirements of the program, which is designed to contribute toward their development as global citizens.

The Laidlaw Scholars Undergraduate Leadership and Research Programme, also known as the Laidlaw Scholars Program, provides students with funding to pursue research in any area of interest at U of T, or anywhere in the world.
