African International Support Group

This support group is a space for International identifying and newcomer African students to connect with peers, share challenges and triumphs and foster social support while building a sense of community. Sessions will take place bi-weekly on Fridays from 5:00 – 6:30PM EST. Sessions will include themed discussions, resource sharing and lots of fun through networking and icebreaker activities! This support group will include sessions for graduate and undergraduate students.

- Discuss challenges, problem-solve, and connect appropriately with on and off campus services and resources for support
- Access a space to celebrate triumphs, navigate challenges, and build community
Program Eligibility
Undergraduate and graduate students who identify as an international or newcomer student of African descent.
We will be holding bi-weekly sessions during the Winter 2024 term: Fridays from 5:00 – 6:30PM EST.
Bi- weekly sessions will begin in January 2024.
