Building a Global Mindset

Oct 02 2025 @ 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

The Centre for International Experience (CIE) and Hart House are collaborating to offer this interactive workshop as part of the Global Citizen Program.

Curious about how cultural mindsets shape the way we understand the world?

In this interactive session, we will explore how developing a global mindset can open doors, whether you are studying, working, or engaging in your community. You will reflect on how culture, identity, and perspective influence the way we see the world. We will examine local and global issues, their cultural significance, and the underlying values that shape them. You will also develop strategies to engage global perspectives by building self-awareness, shifting perspectives, and cultivating empathy.

By the end of the workshop, you will have practical tools to approach challenges with curiosity and openness and succeed in diverse environments on campus and beyond.

Why you should join

  • Counts toward your 40-hour engagement requirement in the Global Citizen program
  • Gain practical tools and insights you can use on campus and in your career
  • Work toward earning your Global Citizen notation on your Co-Curricular Record (CCR)
  • Light refreshments will be provided
