During this hour-long hands-on workshop, you will receive an introduction to the history of printing cards and the technology used in the 19th century. You will then get to choose from the image collection to print your own souvenir cards on the 1845 printing press. After the activity, students may choose to continue and explore places nearby such as the ice skating rink on Nathan Phillips Square, the World Food Market on Yonge & Dundas or the festive Eaton Centre. This part is optional and not facilitated by the CIE.
