Come print cards with us at the historic Mackenzie House downtown!

During this hour-long hands-on workshop, you will receive an introduction to the history of printing cards and the technology used in the 19th century. You will then get to choose from the image collection to print your own souvenir cards on the 1845 printing press. Holiday cards, personalized cards, cards to send back home or to your loved ones – you can pick anything you like from a great variety of pictures! Feel free to explore your creative side.

After the activity, students may choose to continue and explore places nearby such as the ice skating rink on Nathan Phillips Square, the World Food Market on Yonge & Dundas or the festive Eaton Centre. This part is optional and not facilitated by the CIE.

Additional information including when and where to meet will be emailed to registrants the day prior to the event. Please note: You are responsible for the TTC fares ($3.25 per adult with cash; $3.20 per adult with PRESTO) to and/or from the campus.
