Workshops, Events and Recordings

The Centre for International Experience (CIE) offers regular Question and Answer (Q&A) sessions and information sessions to help you understand your immigration responsibilities related to the following topics: 

• Orientation about your legal status as an international student in Canada
• Study permit
• TRV (temporary resident visa, also called a “visitor visa” or “entry visa”)
• eTA (electronic Travel Authorization)
• Working in Canada during your studies
• Co-op work permit
• Post-graduation work permit (PGWP)

All of our online Q&A sessions require pre-registration through the University’s Folio system. Your booking confirmation message in Folio will include the URL of the Zoom session.

U of T students can watch our instructional videos (click the ‘Recordings and Videos’ link below) and then visit Folio to pre-register for any of our live, online Question and Answer (Q&A) sessions. Newly-admitted students must first accept their U of T admission offer before they will be able to access Folio.
